Hi, I'm sorry for another silly question but.
.. I've completed the first and second stage of this quest, and my guy has acquired the reward..the picnic basket as he what I guessed had *finished* the survivalists task, and is now at level 5/6 Trailblazer...I've also got the bird houses and unlocked the Deer Springs lookout, so I thought I had finished...but this is the question I know I've got to wait 12 days to do the unlocking of the bridge so
My question is, do I reset the Collection, as I've collected all the stuff to get the basket so....will I get to a new Level re-doing the collection? How many times will I have to reset the collection to get to finish?
I don't want to reset if its not necessary as if I carry on just doing the survivalist tasks and not resetting the collection, will it Still level me up?
Confused....I am and now I bet you are too?
Thanks guys
cheers, Noodles x

I am assuming your goal is to get your level 5 survivalist to level 6, right? But you don't want to have to reset your collection, yes? You can get your sim to level 6 without resetting your collection. Just keep doing the hobby with your level 5 survivalist and every time your sims completes the action they will level up towards level 6. But you just won't get any new items. You could also reset your collection and work towards a few LP and level 6. (I personally like having the original rewards stay on the hobby screen so I wouldn't reset my hobby collection.)Noodle doodle wrote: My question is, do I reset the Collection, as I've collected all the stuff to get the basket so....will I get to a new Level re-doing the collection? Thanks so much...yes, that's the answer I wanted! You never fail M.B do you! Love it!
I'm not going to reset, but just grind on for level 6!

Yeah, trust me that was the first thing I tried. No luck. It's not a big deal, but I was so mad at myself, haha.FavoredLadi wrote:If you did a game save, you may be able to download the last save and then beat the timer for the last 30 second task.autumneffect wrote:I would have finished the quest within the time limit but, despite setting an alarm, I forgot to open the app in time to do the last 30 second task, so I totally missed out on the sleeping bags. I honestly hate the timed quests - they are not busy life-friendly. D:

Hi.. someone in my group time travelled, and the ringlet of fire event ad pop up.. will this event be available after the campground finish? Anyone heard about it?
Re: [QUEST] Vacationer's Guide to the Outdoors
The Ringlet of Fire event is an event that gave us the new longer hairstyles. I believe the first time we had it was last August. Then they brought it back again in March.anismior wrote:Hi.. someone in my group time travelled, and the ringlet of fire event ad pop up.. will this event be available after the campground finish? Re: [QUEST] Vacationer's Guide to the Outdoors
Does anyone know if the sleeping bags will be available for purchase? I finished the quest, but I broke my phone before the autosave point and ended up having to start with old saved data.
By the time I got out to buy a new one, I had missed the deadline and no longer had my sleeping bags. AND, the LPs that I spent to finish the quest on time are still gone!

I can't say for sure, but they have brought back time-limited items on occasion. The most recent one I can recall is the event for the long hair styles. It was introduced in August of last year, but they brought it back this past March for players who didn't get done in time.cammi wrote:Does anyone know if the sleeping bags will be available for purchase? Or it's possible they could do something like what they did for the wedding outfits. It was a reward for finishing a quest within a time limit, but they also had it available to purchase in the online store at different times.
So I'd say there's a chance at some point.
