[SIMCHASE] Season 1: Mothers Day Madness! (Re-Run)

This is the first re-run of the very first Season. We hope that the amounts and numbers have been changed to the ones that mostly repeat from Season 2 onwards.
The first topic is here.

These events follow the same pattern since SimChase Season 2 (Except Season 9). While the tasks have changed, the numbers of sims, items, times and costs remained the same. Therefore we have prepared this topic for the whole Season already, just without detailed tasks.
Of course it's always possible that the developers build in changes. We will only find out when the episodes appear in our games. Therefore, all information without guarantee!

"Mothers Day Madness! ", a 7-day event - first re-run starting Saturday 23rd May (AEST)
After opening the game and tapping "Start Chase" the following episodes will start at the same time every day.
To start the event check in with SimChase's hirsute host Kam Ham at the Nightclub.

Note:

The times mentioned in the game are based on 3-star-objects.
Numbers of sims, clues or items to be found and costs may vary. (Probably depends on the game-level and if you have purchased the boost.)
If you want you can skip tasks at the menu or shorten tasks at the sim. Both amounts are mentioned in brackets behind the tasks. The costs at the sim will go down a while after starting the task, the lowest amount is 9 SP.

Mastery tasks:
To start these tasks it will either cost lots of simoleons or SP.
If you're hard up for cash it's probably best to do all the other tasks and then use the skip episode button to complete the episode. (See Leah’s post here. Except for episode 6 where the SP-amount for starting the task is below the one for skipping the task.

Collecting tasks:
The „Quick Complete to get extra items!“ is true, but it will cost at least 9 SP per sim if you wait long enough. The amount will be quickly over the one for skipping the whole task.

Both are repeats and pretty sure they‘ll come back again in a future update. Guess the best is to decide what prizes you want most and then concentrate on that event.

I was able to get all but three of the woodworking items before the Simchase event started. I had a teen do all of episode 1 except for the one challenge that required multiple Sims. When I got to that one, I was able to skip the rest of the day for only 10 SP. It remains to be seen how well that will work out tomorrow. Hopefully most of the woodworking event will be done by them.

Turn out I had gotten further along in Blinds event than I thought so I was able to finish it before I really started the SimChase.

I paid the 1.5 million simoleons to finish my last task in the park. I forgot to check it before we left the house and when I came back it was too late and I had lost the grand prize. The last game update was 15 hours ago. Is there a way to return to that point and at least get my 1.5 million back or am I just out of luck? Thanks!

Sorry to hear that, especially with a repeat SimChase. That happened to me in this last SimChase 15, even though I spent 195SP, and saved it on the cloud twice! I would write a ticket to Firemonkeys if the last save didn’t work for you.

It took a while, but I wrote a ticket to Firemonkeys, asked if I could get the prizes ported to my game since the glitch didn’t save my progress. They said they couldn’t, so I would have to agree to be compensated. So I said let me get my SP, and I totaled how much each prize I missed was worth—and they gave the currencies to my game save. For you the breakfast tray+2 tubs+1.5mil is 2,505,000 Simoleons, 40LP for 1 tub, and 25SP for another tub.

Since I asked nicely and was genuinely bummed I missed out and would have to wait eons for a repeat, they appreciated that. And I mentioned trying to obtain non-won prizes with Maternity tokens or the Online Store, so maybe mentioning the suggestion will help for the future, or at least offer SP to buy like they used to.
