Re: [SIMCHASE] Season 1: Mother's Day Madness
It'd be great if people would start listing their stats for these different amounts so we could start figuring it out.
I updated the game the day of the release, playing on an ipad, 2 games started at the same time (same game that branched off after the seniors update), one started a couple of years ago, all at level 55, one at 35 sims and about 10,000 sp, one at 17 sims with about 300sp , one at 7 sims with practically 0 sp.
All needed 52 sp to skip the episode.
The difference in what's needed to complete the different tasks would be explained by the different cost in what is required to skip the entire - no matter what the cost to skip the entire episode the amount to skip the different tasks would still need to add up to the amount needed for the entire episode so that part makes total sense.

The sp amount needed to skip it with 5 minutes left? Hasn't that always been the case with sp?

My game is level 55 with 32 sims right now and close to 400 SP. I waited to update until this morning. I did not purchase the boost.mockingbird288z wrote: ↑01 May 2019, 02:53It'd be great if people would start listing their stats for these different amounts so we could start figuring it out.

And I'm seriously considering giving up on this event. The time and resources required far exceed the rewards. The items will more than likely show up in architect homes, the mystery box shop or deals tab.

So, for the 2nd day of quests it did increase from 27 SP to skip episode 1 to 48 SP to skip episode 2. Still didn't complete anything yet. Haven't purchased the boost, tho I am lvl 10 for the vip thing. Maybe that affects it?

I forgot about VIP - one town is vip 9 but the others are 0. I would say it's all random to test what we are willing to spend like they did with the first live event. But I would expect the differences to be larger. Although, by the time we get to episode 7 they may be.marktheperson wrote: ↑01 May 2019, 04:15 So, for the 2nd day of quests it did increase from 27 SP to skip episode 1 to 48 SP to skip episode 2. And no SimChase boost, either.

It's that deals tab that frustrates me the most. I get nothing substantial in that deals tab in my main game. But in my others? I get offered all sorts of stuff - stuff I paid real money for in my main game. If you're wondering, FM, why I haven't bought anything lately...that's why. No sense in spending real money when an opportunity may come along later to buy it with LP.copperwood wrote: ↑01 May 2019, 04:14

I got burned by the firemonkeys before too. I'm very hesitant to spend real money. I bought a few deal tab packs that used to cost real money.mockingbird288z wrote: ↑01 May 2019, 04:55It's that deals tab that frustrates me the most. Okay the "rival" does take the full 24 hours to complete the episode. So the rival's really just there to try and get people to spend real money on SP. You do lose out on the episode's prize if the rival beats you. And you still have to finish that episode to get started on the next one.

I hope it takes the rival 24 hours. Right now she appears to be way ahead and I have most of the day left. It may be a ploy to trick me into using SP. I may just quit after today if tomorrow's cost continue to go up.
