Does anyone know if the French Chateu retains the beautiful fence and landscaping if built on the Island? I know the Spa house and Teen Mansion do, but everything else has that same Island fence....

Also, can this be built on a regular lot, or does it have to be premium?

I expect it to keep the unique fencing and landscaping. Starting with the Holiday 2016 update most of the houses keep their unique fencing.

The Japanese Retreat, Wizard's Cottage, Gingerbread House, Latin Villa, Neo Tokyo, and Pro Skater's Dream Pad house templates now keep their unique fencing, sidewalks, etc. when built on the island

The pot rack is like the Homestead range hood. You can't place it over a counter if the counter is there first. You need to place the pot rack first and then slide the counter under it. The chocolatier bench slides under it too.

Oooo, the herb rack works the same way. Place the rack on the wall, slide the counters (benchtops for our English friends) under, and then you can even place appliances etc. on the counters. I'm loving this more realistic look.

I'm really excited about this event overall, but kind of bummed that there isn't more furniture in a few of the sets (like the bathroom). As a perpetual crafter, I love watching the sims working away at their stations, too. =)

Thanks for the tips. This looks great. I think the prizes look pretty kewl. I haven't updated yet. I'll have some time this weekend so I'll start. I kinda like some of this stuff.
