Once you have the car and drive it, then you get the mystery box shop. Or at least that is how it was in my game.

Is it an additional shop on the map? I'm not seeing anything in my town. Do you mind a screenshot? Thanks.

The mystery box shop is just something you click on in the goals option. Just do the blue goals and you'll see it. You have a week to finish the goals. After you get to 100%, you'll get a key. Then it goes to regular goals again until we get new ones next week.

Don't worry about the donuts burning - you get the goal just for baking them - mine burned first time and I got the goal complete

Bazlit, keep going - the mystery box showed up after I did the shuffle and one other regular goal. It doesn't show up for every goal, but if you keep doing them it comes up every now and then - at least on my game. Stopping for the night, because it wants my toddler to do something and she is already in bed. Set two to bake doughnuts all night and the rest are gardening, because I had to spend $ on goals now that I have my pre-teen progressing through school and stuff - it made me put in another pool as if I didn't know how to do one.

The mystery box is just a extra thing that build upon the normal goals... after game is updated, the normal goals will launch the progressive goals, with buy the progressive TV, watch progressive channel, buy progressive car, drive progressive car... after this the mystery box is launched with whatever goals the game randomize for you...

and my 1st goal is Add a Sim... fortunately it can be skipped.

I am baking multiple donuts because in the last island update, the goal did not complete if you burned them. Took me at least 10 tries to get the donuts done. Anyway good news if the goal completes even with them getting burnt.

I had to cook everything on the grill and my SIM wouldn't "stop", it happened more the 1x so for real long goals I'll have 2-3 sims on the job.

Do you mean the timer counting down to zero seconds and your sim just won't finish the task? If so I've had that happen on and off. Just go to another house and reload the original one. The task should finish then.
