They just have to study at a teen desk. It's not the trig part, it's the "study" part. Try clicking on the desk to see what options come up. Maybe they changed it to add trig as well as do research, revise notes and work on science project?

does anyone know if you can hoard baked goods post update?

I am playing unupdated as of now, and was planning on building a bakery/coffee shop to store baked goods in wont do it though if they took that away as well...
