I think Apple quietly killed Game Center. It just disappeared.

I've moved your post to the Game Center topic.

Unfortunately however, with the update to iOS 10 Apple has changed how Game Center works. The old way of inviting players doesn't work even for people who are on iOS 9 and lower.

It's not known if Firemonkeys are going to implement the required changes to allow game invites for FreePlay.
