Workplace Completion Order Question
I'm just getting back into SFP with the Christmas stuff and I'm back at my workplaces (just the Police Station and Movie Studio). Is it better to upgrade each station to its fullest before opening up something else (i.e., upgrade the Audition Room as far as possible before opening the Costume Department) or should I work on opening and upgrading several things at once?

Re: Workplace Completion Order Question
It’s been a while but I think upgrading one room at a time worked best for me because it delayed introduction of new tasks? It was too long ago and I don’t think I’m remembering right.
Re: Workplace Completion Order Question
I do have one NPC that's hanging around because they need something I haven't started building yet. Will they go away eventually? I haven't done any of the tasks for them. Maybe it would be best to at least build everything I can?

Re: Workplace Completion Order Question
I don’t think it will. Now I do remember the impossible tasks. You will have to complete that area but then other impossible tasks will come until everything is done. I don’t think all of the NPCs will be impossible all at once, tho that is not beyond the scope of what’s possible. What ever you do, don’t let a level ten sim go to their job unless you have to or you will get the longest tasks all the time.
Re: Workplace Completion Order Question
Out of my memory:
As soon as you have unlocked a station the first NPC will come in who needs that station. There is a tiny chance that they will leave, but I think another one will pop in. So to me it seems better to build the station. The specialist should be able to complete all the wanted tasks without upgrading the related station.

Re: Workplace Completion Order Question
Alright. I'll at least open each station, then I guess I'll pick one to upgrade fully and then move to the next.

Re: Workplace Completion Order Question
I think the highest any of my Sims are is 7. I don't know if I'll ever have anyone at 10 with the amount of time I DON'T dedicate to this game. Once the Christmas quest is over I'll probably be burned out for months again.kls1st wrote: ↑13 Dec 2018, 15:53 I don’t think it will. Now I do remember the impossible tasks.
