Can't complete weekly task "couples photos"

I have tried doing this weekly task over and over on 2 different devices. I call 2 sims that are a couple to the mall and select "wait for partner" with 1 then "couples photos" with the 2nd sim. It will not register that I completed it no matter what I do. Cleared cache, uninstall/reinstall, use LP to speed up. Nothing works. Any ideas? I'd rather not spend 10 LP seeing as how I don't have a toddler at the moment and keep getting toddler tasks. Please help!

There is a bug with this weekly task. The only thing you can do is to contact the Firemonkeys. Here's the link to their Help Center:

This task appeared in my game today and it did not complete. I opened a ticket at the Firemonkeys' Help Center.
