I'm trying to age up baby who is now a toddler with hibernation, but it seems he is in a coma instead. He won't wake up until I cancel the action. Has anybody else had this happen with a super sim baby or toddler.
I'm not worried about the xp I'm missing out on, since I'm max level. But I'm concerned this may happen with other tasks, or even worse with live events.
This super sim lives in the snow chalet, in case that makes a difference. I think I'll test with another toddler in the same bed.

Mine too. He lives in a custom home so the chalet isn’t the problem. He also won’t finish some other task. Can’t remember what, maybe swimming? He finished riding the tricycle and I kinda wish he could ride longer. Did mine finally wake up after I closed the game and restarted a time or two? Oy, my memory stinks.... I think he keeps aging if you don’t wake him.

Yes sometimes closing the game works, but not all the time. I even restarted the device this time and he still wouldn't wake up. I'm sure they'll fix it eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Re: Having trouble waking up super sim
Right now I'm testing a theory on this problem. I wonder whether the game continues to use a normal sims task time, rather than the reduced time a super sim needs to complete the same action.
I had 2 baby sims start hibernating at the same time, one normal one and the other with the baby bonus. The timer for the one with the baby bonus is already at 0, but again he just keeps sleeping. The regular baby should wake up within half an hour. I want to see if the super baby will wake up at that time also.

And my theory seems to be correct. Both babies just woke up within seconds of each other.copperwood wrote: ↑12 Jul 2018, 20:07 Right now I'm testing a theory on this problem. Re: Having trouble waking up super sim
I've noticed they have been taking the same time as the regular babies for the xylophone hobby as well. They will be blinking and if I go to them they have zero seconds left but won't compete but when the other babies are done the super baby will then complete as well.

I have noticed this same problem. I hope this gets a fix soon! Of course, I am still waiting for the Sim tracker to be fixed for cooking and diving too. So, there's that.

The Chic Boutique update fixed the problem.

Well I found out the problem is still there with the tasks from the Back To The Wall quest. The timer is at 0 and the icon flashes but the task won't complete. Regular tasks like diving are fixed. Wonder if other quests also still have the problem.
And hopefully next update they give the reduced time for planting, cooking and baking as well.

Re: Having trouble waking up super sim
I can confirm the problem is definitely still there as of Chic Boutique update. It has happened to me a lot with my two super sims. I got my girl super sim pregnant and the messed up timers are making it a pain to determine when to come back to start the next daily goal! The timer sits at zero until the original (non-super sim) time has passed, and only then does the action complete. I have mostly noticed this with quest type tasks, not sure if it is also happening on everyday actions or not. Sent in a ticket about it, recommend everyone else with this issue also do so. If enough people bring it up, maybe they will take notice and fix it.
