Empty house not recognised

Post by Cookiesandcream »

Hi, I have a sim thats moved in with another sim, but the house is still apparently occupied.
The sim has moved in with and married another sim, but the map of simtown still has that sims face in the bubble over the house. Have sent sim home to see which house it goes to, and thats the new house its living in. Why isnt the game recognising the empty house?

Can't seem to find anything on this issue specifically. Theres no unborn babies or anything!

1. Any pets in there? If so, try giving them to another sim.

2. If you have enough money, could you try moving a spare sim into the home, and if it works, move them back out? Maybe that would free up the house.

If you haven't saved after the sim's move, try resetting your game and restoring from a previous save. It sounds like you have a weird glitch in your game. You should save every time before you move a sim out to a different house until you are assured that this was a one time thing. If it happens again, try deleting the game off your device then reinstall and restore from your last save. Make sure all your other apps are off when you install again. A file may have been corrupted the last time you updated. Starting clean with a new download sometimes will fix that sort of thing. Good luck! P.S. Since we just had an event make sure that your last save included completing the event.
