Icon on the "scare" action?

What is the icon on the "scare" action when sims interact with each other? Is it a pen? Any idea what it means?

I've wondered what it is too LOL. looks like medicine dropper thingy to me which makes no sense. I keep thinking one day I'll see it and it will be clear what it is.

I think that interaction was added during the Night of the Candy Monsters Quest/Monsters and Magic update, so maybe the icon has something to do with that? I can't think of what though. It looks like a pen or medicine dropper to me too. Maybe that's the default icon on their icon-maker-thing and they forgot to change it to whatever it really should have been.

Looks like medicine dropper to me. Maybe a good scare is medicine for hiccups???
