Weird glitch after update

Has anyone else got this problem? All my toddlers, and several of the older sims, have lost their skin and faces, and several other sims have lost their hair - all of those are just showing as white!! My teddy bears are just white blobs, and at least one of my female sims has lost her skirt and is walking around half naked!! My Christmas trees aren't rendering properly either. Is it just me or are there others experiencing this?? And is it a glitch or something more serious?

I had this problem but an update pushed through on its own and they are now fixed. (At least the skin tones and clothes...I haven't checked a Christmas tree.)

I just went back to my game and they fixed it

I was playing when the fix came through. The game crashed and when I restarted, there was a popup with a progress bar for the update.

I saw this glitch too, but it disappeared after restarting the game.

My adult & toddlers got fixed after a couple of days. But not the preteen & senior. I follow the advice of some in another thread...forgot which one.
Browse Clothes & click anything..hair perhaps. Select a style , then exit without actually changing or just cancel the change. The problem is fixed.
