Has anyone else noticed there is no longer a sound associated with the weather machine? No howling wind with the snow and no thunder for storms?

Has anyone else noticed there is no longer a sound associated with the weather machine? No howling wind with the snow and no thunder for storms?

I checked three different games-2 android and 1 iOS. The sounds are still there, but are a bit difficult to hear. I used headphones with music set very low and sound effects very high in the game settings and device volume about medium.
