Help, game keeps crashing when....

I'm a fairly new player... So, I don't know if this is a problem anyone else has had.

I sent one of my sims to a friend's town. Now, when I try to go back out to that town the game crashes! My sim is not listed on the job / hobby list. What's going on!?! I can't save to the cloud because it keeps telling me that I have a sim in another town.... but I can't get to her.

Help!

Did you update your game when your sim was out of town?

I did update to the mysterious island. I'm not sure if she was out of town or not.

You might need to reset your game

However the update to this post said that doing a teen update might fix the problem.

Ok, so I reset. Lost my whole day's work of work I do have another question..... I have a goal of sending a sim to a neighbor's pool to joyride on an inflateable toy. Every time I do that, my sim jumps in the water and shakes his/her head and jumps out of the pool. What's up?

Either the toy is not placed properly and the sim can't get on (no space) or the pool is too dirty and needs cleaning. Otherwise try another neighbour.
Glad the reset worked but sorry you lost a day's progress.

Thanks! I'm cleaning a pool now. Hopefully that will work. I hate spending lp to get out of goals. They're so hard to come by.
