I didn't build the community center yet... maybe it's an alternate location, but I doubt it. More likely I read the screen wrong, but why I'd get a notice about patios after already completing them is odd too, so who knows.

I got it again! Took a screenshot this timeImage

I can't find Grim at my DIY house. Has anyone else had this problem? Tried leaving and sending a different Sim and tried restarting the game. Thanks in advance!

I had a bit of a time trying to find him myself. Finally realized that he floats around pretty fast. He might actually be there and you didn't see him because of this maybe

If you are talking about the "Outdoor Screens" there aren't any green ones. (At least not in my game) They come in shades of brown, gray, black, & white. They are in the outdoor decorations tab.

There is a "Lime Privacy Screen" but it can only be used indoors & costs 6 SP. They are found in the home decoration tab.

The indoor & outdoor screens become available after completing the Balcony Quest.

You can't do the quest, unless you build the community centre first.

So... Two random (or is that randy?) sims are now doing some heavy petting in the basement. Are we shooting a design show or a porno?!? :o

Fun fact: the Dutch word "vrijen" can either mean "making out" or "having sex".

Oh silly Sims translators. Never change!

Deedee wrote:<snip> Nope, I already completed the patios. I got the note about balconies about an hour later. I'm in no hurry in any case... I just finished preteens and need to get started on the restaurant, weather, snow park and THEN multi-stories, so it can wait I think. Wonder what would happen if I did do it tho- maybe it would just save it as done and let me use it at the right time.
You also wouldn't to be able to complete the quest, because you need to actually build a balcony (which requires at least a second floor). So you would be stuck part way through. Then you would lose out on the prize for finishing on time.

HFN 2 -Clue House with 4 firepoles: on island behind Tempest of Bliss (3 Bliss Drive)

Hopefully the game wouldn't allow me to start at all as that would be a bug IMHO as well as mean, but I am not going to test it and find out as I'm not running any test games.

What is the finish prize for balconies anyway?
