Besides Sims Freeplay, I really like Real Racing 3. Really solid racing game, love the way the different cars sound and feel.

Awesome! Yeah it definitely appeals to the collecting side of me, as does sims freeplay.

My daughter found a game called Flow Free. It's a puzzle game whereby you connect the pairs of same colored dots and use all the squares in the grid to complete the puzzle. They are trickier than they seem. We are on iOS so I'm not sure if it's available on android.
AliciaWS720 on Game Center: §418 mil town value, VIP 10, level 55. Started as a new game during the DIY update. Special thanks to all of you very creative people on this forum for inspiration in designing houses!

My game is fully updated on iOS.

I just started playing "Here be Monsters" it's really cute and fun and something I play when I still want to goof off and all my sims are grinding away for orbs. It's maybe a little like FarmVille, although I don't play that so I'm not sure. You do grow crops and collect items to create food and other items you need to get through quests. I'm enjoying it.

I like having to search the world trying to fund certain plants and minerals to create potions etc. and, you can chat within the game as well as gift items to each other.

I'll second Blendoku and Flow Free, for sure! And I'll add BeeCells. The free/lite version is one of the very first games I played when I got the first iPad and I still enjoy it. Collect the colors together in six or more to clear the honeycomb. And Godus. It's been a while since I've played and it was a bit buggy but the game play is charming as all get out and the absolutely beautiful graphics make it worth a look, at least. And for a more active gameplay try Smash Hit, a tunnel run and tap to throw balls at glass things, great graphics and neat sound effects.

Well I like:
1. QuizUp: It has trivia questions about almost everything. You need Internet.
2. Candy Crush saga: after running away from it for like a year I decided to install it, you don't need Internet for it most of the time, it's kind of addicting but you have to be patient, some levels are a little harder than others.
3. Draw Something: you draw something and your partner tries to guess what that is. It's awesome.
4. Unblock Me: no Internet needed. It can be really hard sometimes.
I'm on Facebook! Just ask ;)
It might take me a while to answer, but I will :)

I just finished all the currently available stuff to do in another time based tablet game called Godus. It was Godus that taught me that I could enjoy a timer game. I have tried them in the past just to look at them, but never considered playing one as I just couldn't be held to a timer and didn't know how to fit it into my day without it taking over. I read in a game developer article years ago that all timer games were not games at all, but actually addiction devices designed to keep you wanting more all the time including wanting to spend money to get more, faster. I am spending a lot on SFP I'll admit, but I never put a dime into Godus and I finished it faster than my friends who had put quite a bit into it, so in it's current state (Spring 2015) it's very do-able and enjoyable without any spending at all.

Truth be told timer games DO take over my day, but apparently lately I have more time to let that happen, LOL! In any case, it took me about a six weeks to finish Godus in it's current state (it's a bit of a work in progress, and I'm glad to have done what I did before the "war" part of the game is even released as that wouldn't have been a big draw for me) Godus is a pretty game with great sounds, which is often over-looked as a true contributor to a game's success, but for me I notice little details like that. Godus has a facebook connction on android, not sure what is available on other platforms but you can go visit your friend's worlds. You can't interact with them, so it's just for having a look.

Godus comes from the same guy who created Populous back in the old days. I have the PC version (early access, buggy, but in my opinion better than mobile).
