That's why I let them roam outside and grab a chair once I've popped their bubble. I can tap the plates quickly enough before four sims get to the sinks, so the rest of them get the footprints and the plates disappear. Double tapping the home button (on my iPad) speeds up the process even more. OK ...

I have 3-4 sinks for the ten of them, but sometimes they shake their head at me when someone is standing in their way and I have to switch to that sim and move them or nobody will clean up

I use just one toaster for 6-10 sims. It has to be inaccessible, though. Considering rebuilding the Sanctuary costs only 11-13 LPs (large lot 21-24 LPs) even if your town is full (and add some § for the rooms), it's a bargain compared to the time it takes to do all the cleaning up. (Even if you cancel after picking up). Other than lag I don't see any reason for re-doing...

Thanks. I got caught up in playing FarmVille 2 country escape for awhile, but now I'm back. Glad I don't have to do orb grinding any more.

The FarmVille game was fun, but the social aspect of it could be a bit much at times.

Can be bad luck for one grid, but consistently? It also depends on how you cook... Thanks guys!! It's working great!! I was able to fiddle with the number of toasters and sinks needed and mostly they put the plates on the counters. Now I can get the teleporter
